The price for the ticket really depends on a lot of different ingredients, but two main indicators are the time and city you are traveling to. The airlines which go to big cities tend to charge less because there is more competition. Smaller towns generally cost significantly more.

Have you noticed how airline tickets can be very expensive? But do you know where and how they come to agree on the final price of the airline ticket?

There are many ways to save money on the price of your airline tickets if you should have the need to fly. There are sometimes cheap seats available on some flights. You could book a flight that has 2 or more stopovers instead of a direct flight. Finally you could pre-book your flight well in advance.

Sadly not every option is ideal. But at the end of the day if it gets you to your destination then you will be glad that you managed to save some money.

Booking your flight well in advance is a good option and it also ensures that you do get a seat on the flight of your choice. If you choose to hold out for a cheaper seat you may miss out altogether and have to wait for another flight.

If you plan to book a flight during the holiday period then I would strongly recommend pre-booking your flight in advance.

Occasionally you may find that airlines do offer a cheap seat option. This would only be if you were fling on your own, and it would probably be the seat next to the toilet block.

If you are not bothered about the luxury of business or first class travel it can be cheaper to go coach class.

Take a coach class and cheap seat option and you could save even more money on your ticket price.

If you do decide to buy a ticket with a number of different stopovers, remember to take something with you to keep you occupied during your spell in the different airports.

It is easy to imagine yourself on a warm and sunny tropical island, especially during those cold, gloomy days of winter. When winter time comes people tend to get down and feel blue. This is not only unhealthy for their psyche, but it also starts to interfere with there jobs.

So what is the cure for the winter time blues? It must be a nice quick getaway to some warm and sunny place. It could be the beach or an island or really anywhere warm and sunny. It should preferably be somewhere with lots of sunshine and lots of water to cool off. Pack your sun block and your vintage Wayfarer sunglasses and get ready to relax and have some fun in the sun. Just remember to take it easy on your getaway; you don’t want to come home more exhausted than when you left.

A good rule of thumb is to give yourself an extra day when you get back into town, that way you have a full day to acclimate yourself back to normal living. The shock of going back to work and school the day after your back from an awesome vacation can be too much for some people; it can make you feel worse than before you left.

So when the winter weather is getting you down the first thing you need to do is jump onto the computer and start looking into destinations and travel arrangements. A great site to do this at is Expedia.com. Expedia makes it simple for you to book your entire vacation, on one site, while saying yourself some money. When making arrangements on the internet you also will save the time of making hundreds of calls checking airlines and hotel availability and prices. You can make all your plans without even having to change out of your pajamas!

You can fly down to south Florida, maybe take a swing down through the Keys and check out some of the brilliant sunsets in Key West. Or, you can fly to Mexico and spend some time in Acapulco and soak up the rays in that new bikini. Just make sure to use the sunscreen, you are going to be very pale from being covered up all winter and you don’t want to burn.
