Some of us always try to find cheaper airfares for both family vacations and business trips. One e-book is available, which describes about how to save money on airfare and the author of the book is a hard working travel agent in Airline Corporation. According is his view; he was unjustly fired from the position suddenly on one morning.
For the above reasons, he released an e-book stating all the secrets to get revenge on his boss. After knowing the story behind writing the e-book, you have chance of doubt whether to believe the secrets or he is simply playing a marketing trick to sell his book.
I was pleased with the information but I was not interested in purchasing this e-book. I started reading this book through his website and it increased my curiosity. My curiosity increased to such level that I purchased the e-book. I have an opportunity to refund the money back if didn’t feel it as helpful with the money back guarantee offer provided by the writer.
If just want to say after reading his book thoroughly is that the information provided in the book is really exceptional and well worth of the money which I have spent on it. I was surprised such a wonderful and helpful book on cheap airfares cost much less and did not understand why he charged such low price for very useful book.
This book is divided into four sections from basic tricks to the top secret tricks. There are some basic tricks, which I know but there are some many other techniques in other three sections that I have not thought of. As everything has both positive and negative effects I found the same with this e-book. The following are the positive and negative aspects, which I felt after reading the book.
Positives
Save on Airfare Secrets is really helpful in savings and just necessary points are mentioned but found my e-books they just write for filling the pages before getting into the actual and really information. Such practice is not found in this e-book. After related information it directly goes in the techniques.
Quality of the book is the important aspect and asset of this book with top notch information. After reading the techniques I really wanted to test how it works to save on travel but it was amazing, implementing these techniques I saved about 30-40% on my yearly travels and that couple of hundred dollars savings for me per year.
There are some many secrets for saving money on airfare and one of secret is worthy of about $100 dollars, if I going searching such secret it would really cost me hundreds of dollars. Not from anything but for this single secret I felt my decision about purchasing is really worthy.
Negatives
As mentioned above everything has both positive and negative this book also associated with some negative points though it is really good.
Some tricks in the book has some negative effects, one point which author mentioned in his website to improve the sales of the book is when he was working in airlines how his customers got a air ticket for $143 when the actual cost was $1143.
The author explained it as computer malfunction, which happens thrice in every month and many people buy tickets per month the chance of you getting such chances is very difficult.
Everyone cannot apply some of the tricks that are mentioned in the book to take advantage of certain tricks you need to have certain age group or occupation of receiving discounts on air ticket. Some tricks are not applied for everyone, which are present in this book and some tricks in basis trick section are known by every one

Philippines is a nice distinctive place to visit. With its tropical weather and excellent varieties of beaches and resorts, anyone would easily fall in love with this wonderful country located in the south eastern part of Asia.
My experience of stay in the Philippines makes me want to plan an immediate return for another vacation. If you are thinking of traveling to the Philippines, you should definitely be a little familiar with its main city capital called Manila. This is where you will most likely plan your flight arrival destination to end up at.
Finding cheap flights to Manila is not that easy, you need to do researching as well as planning ahead of time. Flights to other local airport destinations may not be cheaper since manila is the main capital of the country. So, almost all international flights are routed thru the city’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, thus, more scheduled flights and much lesser expenses for airline companies.
However, Cebu Mactan International Airport has been gaining international flights already. At the time of this writing, they have 6 regular direct international flights. Taipei is the most recently added trip to their list of scheduled flights, and is scheduled for at least twice a week. It maybe a little expensive compared to a Manila flight, but if you intend to go anywhere near Cebu area like Bohol or somewhere around the Visayas region, then it would be a fairly good option to take advantage at. Another international Airport would be in Davao which has 3 international daily scheduled flights, to Singapore, to Koror Palau, and to Manado Indonesia.
Airfares are usually the most expensive part of a vacation trip, next to it would be hotel accommodations, this is why most of those who plan to visit the Philippines would surely want to go after those cheap flights to Manila. Nevertheless, once you arrive in the country, most of the things you will find there have adequately cheap prices, like food, transportation, souvenir items, clothing stuffs, and other accessories you may want to buy, way much cheaper compared to buying the same things from other countries.
Further more tips in finding cheap flights to Manila would be:
• Asking for quotations from travel agencies
• Surfing the internet to compare and get the best rates out there
• If you are from USA, then there are lots of Filipino agents selling cheap airfares to Manila, do try asking for them around your neighborhood
• Planning ahead on specific dates will give you bigger savings
• Most airlines offer huge discounts if booked earlier, but you must be sure about the schedule of your flight, otherwise you may end up getting charged for more should you request to cancel or change your flight schedule later on
• Some companies give discounts if you pay them via credit card, you should take advantage of such offer
• Other companies even accept travel mileage points to cover for your airfare

Very Cheap International Flights: 3 Secrets to Get Very Cheap International Flights

What if you could get very cheap international flights? You could be crossing the Atlantic or exploring the Amazon, without worrying about the airfare costs. Unfortunately, such trips may also dry up your savings. You might ask yourself, “Do I have to break the bank just to take that trip abroad? Is there no way I can get very cheap international flights?”

Fortunately, you don’t have to shell out your whole life savings to travel to another country and experience the most exciting adventures. Now there are ways you can get very cheap international flights. If you’re ready to get an international stamp on your passport and enjoy inexpensive airfares, read on!

1) Perfect Timing

Timing has a lot to do with getting very cheap international flights. For example, the economy has started to weaken in many parts of the globe. The U.S. recession does have a chain effect. This is the time when airlines pull all the stops just to get their seats filled; even hotels will lower their prices to attract guests.

And if you’ll notice, many travel agencies and online airfare dealers have started putting together package deals, which specifically aim to make the most of small budgets and give the lowest airfare available.

2) Join Airline Websites

Another way you can get very cheap international flights is by joining airline websites. Sometimes, they give you discounts or offer you special promos as a way of getting you to stay a member.

Most of these websites also send you bi-weekly newsletters and offer other services (forum or “ask a travel agent”), which can help you get more insider information. If you’re a person who often travels a lot and wants to take advantage of extremely cheap airfares, this is not a bad deal at all.

3) Buy and Sell

Sometimes, people who find that they can’t make their flight or even get their money back choose to re-sell their plane tickets for a much cheaper price.

Try scouting Ebay for such opportunities although you might have to double check with the airline if the ticket is valid and transferrable before bidding. On a side note, there are currently many show tickets being re-sold on the said website.

While there are now a lot of ways to get very cheap international flights, you must also never underestimate the power of research and common sense. Prices fluctuate quickly and sometimes, what might seem like a great deal leads to a dead end. Stay on your toes and have a good trip!

Fuel costs are going higher and higher. And many airlines are increasing their fuel surcharge in response. You may have noticed that your travel costs have gone up by up to 50%! Can you still get cheap airfares now? The airlines still do have cheap air tickets. Let us look at some of the ways you can get those cheap flights.Search Online for Cheap Flights

Just Google it! There are lots of airfare aggregators and also discount flights search engines like Priceline. Check your airfare with as many of them as possible, they often provide different airfare prices. You may want to start your search with these websites:

For US domestic flights: Kayak, Farechase, Cheaptickets, Orbitz, Priceline and Travelocity.

For international flights: Other than the above, you should also try Mobissimo, Skyscanner and Zuji.

Also check if your travel destinations are served by low cost carriers or no frills airlines. If the above websites did not provide you airfares from these airlines, go to the airlines’ own websites and see their prices.

Once you find the cheap flight you want, check the airline’s own website and see if they offer the same flight at a cheaper price.

You can also experiment with flights on different timings or days. Different days of the week will have different prices, and so do different times.

Do your check for cheap airfares at different times of the day. This is because prices fluctuate throughout the day.

Check one-way flights too. Experiment with different airlines and you may find a combination that is cheaper than your two-way return flights.

If you’re flying on low cost carriers or budget airlines, you can usually get cheaper fares when you book really early. Or you can wait for their promotions. Just check back often on the airlines’ websites.Check With Your Local Travel Agent

Sometimes travel agents will have access to special deals that are not available online. Check their air ticket prices against the cheapest airfares you have found online.

Ways To Get The Best Last Minute Airfare

November 21, 2009 by Rob · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Cheap Airfares

There are times when one needs to make an emergency trip. The reason may be official or personal. In such a case you need to find an affordable last minute airfare. Last minute airfares are posted online on the airlines sites almost daily. However these fares are actually not last minute. At times, these fares are posted 14 days in advance or 3 days in advance. These last minute fares come and go very quickly. So you have to log on regularly on the airlines sites if you wish to purchase the tickets.

There are also some sites which have expertise in last minute airfare. These are Site59.com or 11thhourvacations.com. You can subscribe on these sites and you can then receive regular updates from them.

You can also get cheap airfare from Priceline.com. There is actually an auction at this site where you are supposed to quote a price as to what you are willing to pay for the airfare. The site will then contact all the airlines and see if they get the ticket on the price quoted by you. However the disadvantage with these tickets is that you cannot refund them once you have purchased them. So you have to carry on with the flight even if it does not suit your time.

Some times you can also get cheap airfare by visiting the nearest airport. Smaller airports may offer better prices. The airport may be 2-3 hours drive from your place but it will be certainly worth the time. The flight is also less likely to be full at the smaller airport than the major one.

There are some flight search engines also where you are just supposed to enter your flight details and the site then looks for the best deal available on the net. These search engines earn money from the referral fee and the pain advertising. So when you buy your tickets through the search engines, they get paid for it. However you should read carefully regarding the fees charged by the search engines. Usually you do not have to pay anything.

You are usually made well aware of the fees. However in a hurry you may overlook some details. You should thus be always careful with the fee structure. You should look carefully at the fee structure because the profit margin is not huge and thus the sites may put the fee structure in a very creative way. Budget airlines like American Eagle and Jet Blue are not included are not searched by the flight search engines. This is because these airlines do not pay the referral fee to the search engines.

There are some airlines which provide cheaper airfare. So you have to search for the best option in case you are looking for cheaper airfare and that too at the last minute!

Last Minute Airfare Deals: The Ultimate Solution for Travellers!

Although it is advisable that you book at least two weeks before your flight, many people find it difficult to get time out of their busy schedule and search for cheap airfare way in advance. No need to worry; good news for busy people out there: you can now find the cheapest last-minute airfare deals online! Yes, it is as easy as that. With so many airlines and online travel consolidators, theres a lot of competition going on and they all keep offering special last-minute packages that are too inexpensive to miss. Lets find out how you can find such deals.

Last-minute special deals are not offered by all airlines so you need to keep an eye open to learn whenever such a package is offered by an airline. Internet is the best way to start off. See if the airline you had in mind has this special offer on their list. Also, keep in mind that last-minute seats are limited and they are sold off as soon as a customer is found. This is the main reason why people do not like to consider this option as a cheap way of traveling. But do not lose hope, if you really do want to avail this great opportunity then keep looking. There are websites out there that help you narrow down your search by entering some additional information, like departure city, arrival city and your preferred airline. They then find the best deal that fits your search criteria.

Last-minute deals are best to take advantage of at night or in the early hours of morning. That is because at that time airlines are trying to sell off all their tickets of a flight so that no seat is left without a passenger. That is the reason why they sell these tickets at very low prices as compared to the normal airfare. If you are traveling alone then waiting for last-minute reservation will not be a problem for you. However, it may become difficult with a family because you are not sure whether you are going to find as many seats as you require. Then there is always a chance that you might not get a good deal after all.

It is better to keep at least 2 or 3 airlines in mind if you are considering getting last-minute seats. You can find out more information on Travelocity.com and 11thhourvacations.com. These sites will provide you information not only on available last-minute packages but also on the benefits of such deals. Last-minute deals let you save up to 70% on airfare! Such kinds of deals are now so popular that these tickets are sold off two weeks before the flight. If you do not have time to book in advance then you can buy last-minute tickets 3 hours before departure.

Another way of finding cheap last-minute deals is to get on websites like Priceline.com. Here you will be able to provide information on what kind of package you are looking for and your destination location etc. The site administrators will try to match your needs with offers made by certain airlines to sell off their remaining seats. If there is a match found they will let you know immediately and this way you will be able to travel inexpensively without much trouble.

Last-minute deals are also offered by cheaper airlines that are not very popular. Well, if traveling luxuriously is not one of your priorities then considering one of these airlines could save you a lot of dollars. Keep searching for cheap airlines and inexpensive airfare and you will come across an airline perfectly meeting your needs. Often these airlines can not get their flights fully booked and because of that they keep offering special packages that are cheap and attractive for a lot of customers and travelers out there.

Finding Inexpensive Airfares during Peak Seasons

November 19, 2009 by Rob · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Cheap Airfares

Although people love to travel cheap and want to avail those opportunities that offer cheap airfares and special airfare deals, but unfortunately most of these packages and offers are available for off-peak seasons only. This is because airlines try to sell out their tickets when the seats are not fully taken and they want to schedule a flight. During peak seasons there is no need to do so since people from all around the country are flying here and there to make the most of their holidays and other special occasions. You might think there is absolutely no way of avoiding extremely expensive airfares during peak seasons. I say extremely expensive because airlines tend to increase their rates during holidays and special occasions like Christmas. In this article we will explore how to find cheap airfares during peak seasons.

The first option is to book in advance. When the time gets near ticket rates go sky-high because of the number of people wanting to travel at the same exact days. No matter how you plan your trip you end up being excessively charged to spend a holiday season out of your city or country. But the problem with this option of flying cheaper is that sometimes you just cant manage to plan your trip way in advance. Either you are not sure whether you would be flying on those days or not, or you are called at the last day to attend a wedding or to meet relatives at a suddenly-planned reunion. What would you do then?

One way to avoid peak-time airfares is to book a one-year open seat on the flight to your intended destination. This works not only with national airlines but with international airlines as well. What you do is buy a one-year open return ticket and upon arriving at your destination location you throw this ticket away and buy another one-year open ticket with a return day somewhere in the next few months to come. This does cost you more than regular fares but it saves you a lot when you have to fly during peak seasons and there is no other option available.

Yet another way is to search the Internet for air travel consolidators in your area who will help you find an inexpensive flight in high season. You can also try to locate airlines that have special deals listed on their packages for high seasons. These airlines might not be available at your location, so the trick is to fly at the location from where they have a cheap flight scheduled to your destination location or somewhere closer. Once you are on a website that lets you search for inexpensive flights you will find out a lot of indirect routes to your destination. Traveling this way is sometimes cheaper than traveling direct, especially in high season.

Consolidator packages sometimes include air-hotel offers in which you have to pay not only for the ticket but for hotel accommodations as well (which you may not be willing to avail). However, you can search for air-only packages during peak seasons. Many companies are offering air-only as well as air-hotel cheap packages to their customers to let them travel affordably.

How to Find Airfare Bargains

November 18, 2009 by Rob · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Cheap Airfares

If you are planning to travel by air on your next trip, you must also be planning to find cheap airfare to save yourself some money for shopping and other activities while you are away. Well, you have come to the right place, because this article is going to give you some tips on finding airfare bargains.

The first place to start off is the Internet. There are so many websites out there dedicated to providing information on various airlines and especially the ones that have wonderful discount offers for their customers. Some of these websites also offer membership for those who travel a lot and would like to hear about the latest deals and discount packages. These sites and the people who run them are known as online consolidators and you can contact them anytime to ask questions and learn about the latest trends in airfares.

Once you have short-listed a few sites, the next thing to do is to observe them for a few days to see what destination locations are the most popular ones to get discount airfares and what are the days at which airfares go down. You will notice a regular pattern in the ups and downs of airfares. Note this down and see when the tickets are the cheapest for a particular destination.

Just like certain days are cheaper than others, some seasons are also cheaper than others. Remember that if you are planning to spend this Christmas somewhere else, then booking for a flight way in advance would be the best way to go. It is recommended that you book at least four months before the flight. Similarly summer is the peak time when people go for vacations somewhere cooler than their own city. This time of the year is also expensive for air travelers. But of course there are consolidators who will book you in advance for a cheaper flight.

Last-minute deals are also of particular interest in this category. Many websites will give you information about the last-minute deals that some airlines have to offer to sell off their extra tickets. But these kinds of deals are not available for all destinations. You will have to either wait for your location to be listed on one of these offers or pick up some other option. Although last-minute reservation will come very cheap at times (even 70% discount is offered by some airlines), but they are useful only if you are traveling alone or you have a lot of time on your hands.

Early-morning airfares are cheaper than the rest. Similarly, flying on a Friday and coming back on Monday morning are cheaper than flying on a Saturday and coming back on Sunday evening. You will have to plan your trip accordingly and make some changes to adjust to this kind of schedule, but of course it will save you a great deal of money since weekend airfares are sometimes sky-high, especially if the location is popular.

These are only limited ways of finding cheap airfare online. Once you are actually there you will find out a great deal of information yourself. So do not waste time, just log on the Internet and find yourself an airline that matches your schedule as well as your budget.
